Originally announced in 2017, it was going to add new lighting effects, water, and shadows to the game. The Super Duper Graphics pack is literally being constructed from “the ground up” for Microsoft’s Xbox One X high-end gaming system and powerful Windows 10 personal computers. Some analysts speculate that this will initially be an optional upgrade for Minecraft’s core graphics but eventually could tease the future look of the franchise. During E3 2017, Microsoft took to the stage to announce its yearly showcase of new games and content updates. In their lineup, was the "Super Duper Graphics Pack", for Minecraft, which would give the game a 4K graphical makeover, fit with majorly improved graphics, shaders, and lighting. In 2017, Microsoft announced that they are working on Minecraft Xbox one special super-duper graphics pack. The super-duper pack of Minecraft would be redecorated by adding new effects such as lighting etc. After the announcement, not much details for the game are disclosed but again an announcement has been made.
